About Kim Koon, LPC

Kim completed her counseling degree at Vanderbilt University and went on to build clinical experience across a variety of settings, including a holistic mental health treatment center, a college counseling center, and private practice. While in Nashville, she founded a thriving group practice, bringing together integrative therapists united by a commitment to holistic, client-centered care. Kim recently settled in Denver, called by the mountains and a desire for more time in nature.

Kim works with emerging adults and adults, specializing in anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and relationship concerns.

Her therapeutic style blends warmth, directness, and empathy, with room for humor and playfulness when the moment calls for it. Kim practices from an identity-inclusive lens and is committed to affirming care for clients of all identities. She is an LGBTQ+ ally and a Health at Every Size therapist.

When she's not in session, Kim is usually out hiking or swimming with her dog, Maple, lost in a book (equal parts counseling literature and fantasy), or catching live music around town.
