Sometimes healing happens best when you get out of your head and out of the office.

Walk & Talk therapy is exactly what it sounds like: we meet on a trail, walk side by side, and do our therapy session surrounded by fresh air and open sky. Living in Colorado, we're lucky to have that option nearly year-round.

Sometimes it’s helpful to switch things up, even in therapy. Movement can loosen things that are stuck. Being grounded in nature allows the nervous system to settle. The mind can open up in ways it often can't inside a traditional office.

Research supports what many of us feel instinctively: time in nature reduces anxiety and promotes a sense of calm and clarity. When therapeutic conversation happens in this environment, clients often find it easier to access difficult emotions and to think more creatively about their problems.

How it works: Walk & talk sessions are available after we've established a therapeutic relationship and set goals together. If walk & talk therapy is appropriate, we'll choose a trail or park that feels comfortable for you and fits your pace.
